Description

Spectacular and charming plant growing to a height of 1.8 metres tall with dense spikes adorned with large dark green leaves that are 25cm long and 5cm wide. The flower stems are topped with compact flower heads that vary from pale coral to a bright red, always with the exaggerated stamen in pink. A soft and delicate fragrance is produced from the blooms in late summer. The fragrant flower heads last well and good for the vase. They are perennials that grow from rhizomes to form clumps up to 1.2 metres wide.
