Description

An evergreen, medium sized Australian native tree with shiny, leathery leaves and masses of dainty pink flowers like fringed ballerina dresses which hang in clusters below the stems in spring and summer. The flowers are followed by blue berries in autumn. Ideal slender, specimen tree for warmer regions. In the garden it can be grown for hedging or as a stately small tree to a height of around 9 metres. It can also be planted in a container and pruned to form a 3metre shrub.
