Description

A very frost hardy, magnificent evergreen perennial with basal stem rosettes of thinly textured, slightly blueish grey-green leaves up to 1metre long and edged with white threads. Nodding panicles of 5cm long white flowers are produced on 1.8 metre tall, erect stems in summer. A colourful and aesthetically pleasing shape to suit all gardens.

Cultivation

This Yucca grows well in most climatic zones but does best in full sun with low humidity. Yucca can be planted in full sun to part shade and in a sandy, free draining soil of average pH. Once established, it is very hardy and well able to withstand heat, drought, wind and frost conditions. It will respond well to fertiliser and water during the growing season. No known pests or diseases.
