A rounded, evergreen bush with aromatic, leathery leaves and almost completely covered with white, waxy, star-like flowers opening from pink buds in spring. An Australian native plant growing to 2 metres tall by 2 metres wide in good conditions. Ideal for coastal planting, native gardens and shrubberies in dappled shade but will tolerate full sun. Will withstand extended periods of dryness and light frost.

Cultivation

Plant in moist but free draining soil in a sheltered position. Prepare the growing site by digging over the soil and adding a good handful of blood and bone, rich compost or well decayed animal manure prior to planting out. Water in well at planting time and then on an occasional basis to promote growth. Very low maintenance plant but will respond well to light or heavy pruning. No particular pests or diseases.
