Description

A slowly spreading, Japanese, tufted perennial grass with narrow, long, bright yellow leaves lined with fine green stripes and a pink-red tint in autumn. This plant provides a striking accent to any garden both planted as specimen or in drifts. It can also be grown in pots. It grows to a height of 60cm and is suitable for most climatic regions.

Cultivation

A very frost hardy grass which prefers to be grown in full sun or part shade. Plant it in a fertile, organic rich, moist but well draining soil. It will respond well to fertiliser and water during the growing season. No known pests or diseases.
