Description & Cultivation

A vigorous semi-evergreen large perennial plant which prefers rich well drained soils in a protected, sunny position. Large cream to pale golden yellow trumpets with salmon to orange tips in summer and autumn. The leaves are soft, downy and serrated at the margins when young but becoming smooth edged as they mature. Drought resistant but frost tender. Will require pest protection from whitefly, spider mite and snails. Can be kept trimmed as dense, rounded shrubs or shaped to obtain a single trunk. Height: to 6m.
