Tuberous Begonias are deservedly treasured for their double or single large, delicate, glorious flowers in almost every colour of the rainbow except blue. They also come in many variations of frills and ruffles. Depending on variety, the flowers are produced from tubers which sprout in mid-spring and are carried on weak, brittle stems with rather sparse, mid-green leaves to a height of up to 60cm.
